Threemilestone
are still looking for their first win of the season, and
lady luck still seams to be looking the other way!
TMS started off quite
well and it took Trevenson until mid way through the first
half to open the scoring when they pounced on a lack of
concentration in the visitors defence. Following a spate
of corners, at which Steve Smith was always a threat for
Trevenson, it was no surprise that the height advantage
told when a flighted ball to the back post was headed home
to make it two nil at the break.
So to the second half
and with TMS no longer playing into the sun hope of a comeback
was in the mind of the Stones players. Unfortunately Trevenson
had their own script and started to pull TMS out of shape
almost at will and scored three goals in quick succession,
before adding a fourth for the half late on.
Threemilestone
must start to regain last seasons belief in order to
jump start
this
seasons
campaign. There were credible performances this week
from G.Pirret who never stopped working for the cause and
Gavin Counter looked dangerous going forward and claimed
this weeks Man of the Match on his debut appearance.
