Threemilestone
got off to the worse possible start, giving a free-kick
away on the edge of the area in the
first minute. The shot was saved by Pellow only to parrie the
ball to a Gwinear forward who had an easy tap in. Five minutes
later gwinear were two up, a slip from Gary Underhill allowed
the forward a free run at goal and he finished well.
The manager was not happy with the way TMS were giving away the
ball so easily and not playing their usual quick paced passing
game. To make matters worse, whilst trying to get instructions
to the players after the second goal i felt a squelch under my
boot and looked down to see a dog terd stuck between my studs!
This proved to be a sign of good fortune as TMS then proceded
to take control of the game. Anthony Caddy pulled a goal back,
with a shot from eighteen yards. Then Marc and Dan Taylor scored
one
each
to put TMS 3-2 up at the break.
The second half saw Gwinear rarely threaten, Marc Taylor added
two more goals before Dan Taylor made it 6-2. Big Kev pulled
off a great save to keep the score at two, before Marc Taylor
scored his
fourth
of
the game with a rare left foot volley.
